In order to prove the effect of LITE-SOIL products extensive laboratory and field studies were carried out by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU). The results are impressive:
- After 24 hours LITE-NET retains 6 times more water than coir mats
- The growth factor of LITE-NET is 50% higher than that of coir mats
- LITE-STRIPS mixed into the soil stores 8 times more water per kg than expanded clay beads (LECA)
- Improved erosion control by installing LITE-NET flexibly at slopes
