Especially for the growing phase of turf, approx. 0.5 l/m² LITE-STRIPS Bio1 can be mixed into the top 5-10 cm of soil or substrate and the turf laid directly on top. Roots grow deeper faster because the 7 cm strips of fleece make the soil more permeable and provide air and water to the plants.
LITE-STRIPS Bio1 consist of fine cellulose threads that are 100% biodegradable after approx. 1 year. The air pores of the fleece strips (up to 90%) can store a lot of water temporarily, which the plants can access when needed. This means that watering intervals can be significantly extended and dry periods can be better bridged.
